How do I download and open my video tutorials?

Due to the large file size of video files, all video tutorials are downloaded as several .zip files. In order to access the videos you will first need to unzip these file:

  • Mac: Double-click the .zip file, and a new file will appear alongside your zip file.
  • PC: Right-click the .zip file and select "Extract All"

Also, please note that the file sizes for video tutorials are very large (up to 2-3 gb total). These files require a significant amount of time to download, so it may take several minutes or more to fully download to your computer.

How do I watch the video tutorials?

All video tutorials are sold as either .mov, .m4v, or .mp4 files, and are downloaded to your computer directly. First you will need to unzip the files (see above). Then, open the file to watch it. They can be played on your computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.

If you cannot view the video file or it will not open on your computer, you may want to consider downloading the VLC video player. This will allow you to view many different types of video encodings, including the files you purchase from this website.

Are the videos separated into chapters?

Yes! Each video is organized into several sub-chapters, which should be viewable in your video software of choice (all video players may not support this feature).

In the  QuickTime video player, first click on the Chapters drop-down in the menu controls over the player.

After clicking on this icon, a list of available chapters will appear. Click on an item to jump to that section of the video.
